The Journal of Integrated Electro Systems (JIES) is a peer-reviewed, open-access international journal dedicated to publishing pioneering research at the forefront of electrical engineering, electronics, and integrated systems design. Positioned as a premier scholarly forum for advancing the seamless convergence of hardware, software, and physical electronic infrastructures, the journal serves electrical engineers, microelectronics researchers, automation specialists, telecommunications experts, and industrial technologists worldwide. JIES prioritizes high-impact empirical studies, circuit and system design validations, computational electromagnetics, and applied research and development (R&D) in electrotechnology. By synthesizing foundational principles of circuit theory, electromagnetics, and signal processing with contemporary paradigms of the Internet of Things (IoT), VLSI design, and smart power grids, the journal fosters a deep, comprehensive understanding of how integrated electro-systems drive the next generation of industrial, consumer, and infrastructural technologies.

Scope and Topics
Reflecting its mandate to advance the integrated study of electrical and electronic systems, the journal welcomes high-quality original research articles, systematic literature reviews, experimental validations, and technological case studies within the following thematic areas:

  • Microelectronics, VLSI & Embedded Systems: Design, fabrication, and testing of Very Large-Scale Integration (VLSI) circuits; semiconductor devices and nanomaterials; System-on-Chip (SoC) architectures; microcontrollers, FPGAs, and real-time embedded computing systems.
  • Power Electronics, Energy Systems & Smart Grids: Advanced power conversion topologies and motor drives; integration of renewable energy sources (solar, wind) into the grid; smart grid architectures and microgrids; and electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructures and battery management systems.
  • Control Systems, Robotics & Industrial Automation: Linear and non-linear control theory; adaptive, predictive, and intelligent control systems; autonomous robotics, mechatronics, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs); and Industry 4.0 automation networks.
  • Telecommunications, RF & Signal Processing: Wireless and optical communication networks (5G/6G and beyond); radio frequency (RF) and microwave engineering; antenna design and wave propagation; and digital signal, image, and video processing algorithms.
  • Internet of Things (IoT) & Sensor Networks: Design and integration of smart sensors and actuators; wireless sensor networks (WSN); edge and fog computing in IoT architectures; and cyber-physical systems across biomedical, environmental, and industrial applications.

Publication Frequency
To ensure rigorous editorial oversight, thorough peer review, and the timely dissemination of electrical and electronic engineering advancements, JIES is published semi-annually (2 issues per year, typically scheduled for release in June and December). Special thematic issues focusing on low-power VLSI design for IoT, advancements in EV power electronics, or AI-driven industrial control systems may be commissioned by the Editorial Board.

Peer Review Process
JIES enforces a strict double-blind peer review policy to maintain the highest standards of academic integrity, analytical objectivity, and empirical validity across all electrical engineering and electro-system disciplines.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Journal of Integrated Electro Systems (JIES) is to advance global electrical and electronic engineering scholarship by publishing rigorous, evidence-based research that bridges the gap between theoretical electrotechnology and applied, integrated system design. Grounded in the philosophy that the future of technology relies on the intelligent integration of complex electrical components into cohesive, energy-efficient, and highly functional systems, the journal aims to democratize engineering knowledge by providing an unrestricted platform for global academic, industrial, and practitioner dialogue. Through the promotion of diverse, rigorous experimental, computational, and design-based methodologies, JIES seeks to empower electrical engineers, inspire electronics innovators, and shape resilient, smart, and fully integrated technological ecosystems worldwide.
