The Journal of Sustainable Techno Engineering (JSTE) is a peer-reviewed, open-access international journal dedicated to publishing pioneering research at the critical intersection of advanced engineering, applied technology, and ecological sustainability. Positioned as a premier scholarly forum for developing resilient infrastructures and eco-efficient technological systems, the journal serves civil, mechanical, electrical, and environmental engineers, as well as technologists, urban planners, and industrial researchers worldwide. JSTE prioritizes high-impact empirical studies, computational modeling, experimental engineering, and applied Research and Development (R&D) that address the pressing global demand for green innovation. By synthesizing foundational engineering principles with contemporary paradigms of the circular economy, renewable energy transition, and smart grid technology, the journal fosters a deep, comprehensive understanding of how techno-engineering solutions can drive industrial advancement while safeguarding planetary health.

Scope and Topics
Reflecting its mandate to advance environmentally responsible engineering and technological innovation, the journal welcomes high-quality original research articles, systematic literature reviews, experimental validations, and industrial case studies within the following thematic areas:

  • Renewable Energy Systems & Smart Grids: Engineering and optimization of solar, wind, geothermal, and bioenergy systems; advanced energy storage (batteries and hydrogen tech); smart grid architectures, microgrids, and energy efficiency algorithms.
  • Green Civil Infrastructure & Smart Cities: Sustainable building materials (e.g., green concrete, recycled aggregates); eco-friendly structural engineering and urban design; smart city technologies; and climate-resilient infrastructure.
  • Environmental Engineering & Circular Economy: Advanced water and wastewater treatment technologies; solid waste management, recycling, and resource recovery; pollution control systems; and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of engineering processes.
  • Sustainable Manufacturing & Industrial Ecology: Green manufacturing technologies, eco-design, and cleaner production; integration of Industry 4.0 and IoT for energy-efficient industrial operations; and green supply chain engineering.
  • Eco-Technology, Advanced Materials & Green Computing: Nanotechnology for environmental remediation; biodegradable and smart materials; energy-efficient computing systems, green IT infrastructure, and artificial intelligence for sustainable engineering applications.

Publication Frequency
To ensure rigorous editorial oversight, thorough peer review, and the timely dissemination of technological and engineering advancements, JSTE is published semi-annually (2 issues per year, typically scheduled for release in June and December). Special thematic issues focusing on grand engineering challenges—such as net-zero building technologies, the green hydrogen economy, or next-generation circular manufacturing—may be commissioned by the Editorial Board.

Peer Review Process
JSTE enforces a strict double-blind peer review policy to maintain the highest standards of academic integrity, analytical objectivity, and empirical validity across all engineering and applied technology disciplines.
