The NextGen Engineering and Technology Journal (NGETJ) is a peer-reviewed, open-access international journal dedicated to publishing pioneering research at the frontiers of advanced engineering, deep technology, and disruptive innovation. Positioned as a premier scholarly forum for exploring the technologies that will define the next industrial and societal epochs, the journal serves visionary engineers, applied scientists, computational theorists, and technological innovators worldwide. NGETJ prioritizes high-impact experimental studies, advanced computational modeling, breakthrough proof-of-concept designs, and deep-tech applied research. By synthesizing foundational engineering mechanics and physics with contemporary paradigms of quantum technologies, artificial general intelligence (AGI) applications, advanced robotics, and next-generation connectivity, the journal fosters a deep, comprehensive understanding of how frontier technologies can be engineered to solve the most complex challenges of the 21st century and beyond.

Scope and Topics
Reflecting its mandate to advance the extreme cutting edge of technological development, the journal welcomes high-quality original research articles, systematic technological reviews, experimental design validations, and theoretical engineering frameworks within the following thematic areas:

  • Next-Gen Computing, AI & Quantum Engineering: Quantum computing architectures and quantum cryptography; neuromorphic engineering and brain-computer interfaces (BCI); integration of machine learning and generative AI in automated engineering design; and advanced edge computing.
  • Advanced Materials, Metamaterials & Nanotechnology: Design and synthesis of smart, programmable, and self-healing materials; graphene and 2D materials; nanoscale engineering and photonics; and biomimetic materials for industrial and medical applications.
  • Autonomous Systems, Advanced Robotics & Aerospace: Swarm robotics, humanoid biomechanics, and autonomous cyber-physical systems; next-generation aerospace engineering, electric propulsion, and hypersonic vehicle design; and technologies for space exploration and orbital infrastructure.
  • Next-Gen Connectivity, 6G & Smart Infrastructure: Terahertz communications, photonic networks, and 6G telecommunication architectures; massive Internet of Things (mIoT) ecosystems; and the engineering of holographic communications and digital twins for smart cities.
  • Deep Tech, Bioengineering & Synthetic Systems: Synthetic biology and biomanufacturing; advanced tissue engineering and 3D bioprinting; next-generation medical devices and nanorobotics; and the convergence of biological and mechanical systems.

Publication Frequency
To ensure rigorous editorial oversight, thorough peer review, and the rapid dissemination of breakthrough engineering technologies, NGETJ is published semi-annually (2 issues per year, typically scheduled for release in June and December). Special thematic issues focusing on emerging paradigms—such as the engineering of quantum networks, autonomous space robotics, or the industrialization of metamaterials—may be commissioned by the Editorial Board.

Peer Review Process
NGETJ enforces a strict double-blind peer review policy to maintain the highest standards of academic integrity, analytical objectivity, and empirical validity across all deep-tech and advanced engineering disciplines.
